VideoBook
Terms of Service
These terms govern your access to VideoBook's websites, accounts, catalog, community features, and paid digital-content services where offered.
Effective date and version: 2026-08-15
1. Agreement and operator
VideoBook is provided by the VideoBook service operator identified through the Contact page (the "Operator", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
The legal entity and business address are identified on the Contact page whenever paid checkout is enabled. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account, make a purchase, or use restricted features.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live. A minor may use the service only with a parent or guardian's permission where lawful.
- Provide accurate information, keep your password confidential, and tell us promptly through the Contact page if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You are responsible for activity under your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security measures.
- We may suspend access to protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. You may delete your account from Account settings.
3. Service and content license
The catalog, availability, languages, subtitles, release schedule, and features may change. A content license gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to stream content through supported VideoBook interfaces. It does not transfer ownership or permit redistribution.
- Do not copy, record, download except through an authorized offline feature, rebroadcast, sell, publicly perform, scrape, or circumvent access controls.
- Do not reverse engineer the service, probe security, automate abusive traffic, introduce malware, impersonate others, or use the service unlawfully.
- Geographic, device, simultaneous-stream, and catalog restrictions may apply when playback is introduced.
4. Community submissions
You retain ownership of comments and other material you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, moderate, and distribute that material only as needed to operate and promote the service. You may request deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Do not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, or malicious material.
- We may review, reject, remove, or restrict submissions and accounts when reasonably necessary, but we do not endorse user submissions.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
Where checkout is shown, VideoBook accepts PayPal or Wise bank transfer as displayed. The checkout identifies the product, price, currency, payment method, and any applicable taxes. PayPal may confirm promptly; Wise access is granted only after a signed provider notification confirms the exact amount, currency, and payment reference.
A digital-content purchase grants access rather than ownership. The Refund and Cancellation Policy applies together with mandatory consumer rights. Subscription renewal will occur only when clearly disclosed and authorized, and future renewal can be stopped before the next billing date.
6. Intellectual property and complaints
VideoBook, its software, branding, and licensed catalog are protected by intellectual-property laws. If you believe material infringes your rights, submit a complete notice through the Copyright page. Knowingly false notices may create legal liability.
7. Availability, warranties, and liability
We use reasonable care to operate the service, but beta or preview features may be changed or unavailable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied warranties beyond rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or loss caused by events beyond reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights.
8. Changes, disputes, and contact
We may update these Terms for legal, security, or service changes. Material changes will be announced reasonably in advance where practicable and may require renewed acceptance. The version accepted at registration is recorded.
Before filing a claim, please submit a Contact request so both sides can try to resolve it. Applicable mandatory law and courts with jurisdiction are not displaced by these Terms. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply.
To exercise a right, request a refund, or submit a copyright notice, use the Contact.
