Copyright and Takedown Policy
Rights owners can report material they reasonably believe infringes copyright or related rights. We review complete notices and may restrict material while investigating.
Effective date and version: 2026-08-15
1. Required notice information
- Your full name, organization if applicable, and a reliable email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work or protected performance claimed to be infringed.
- The exact VideoBook URL and enough detail for us to locate the material.
- A description of your ownership or authority to act for the rights owner.
- A good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent, or law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and that you accept responsibility for materially false statements, plus your electronic signature.
2. Review and response
Submit the notice through the Contact page and select Copyright. We may ask for clarification, notify the content provider, disable access, preserve evidence, or reject an incomplete or abusive notice. We process personal information in a notice as described in the Privacy Policy and may share it with affected parties where legally appropriate.
3. Restoration requests and repeat abuse
A person whose material was restricted may submit a restoration request identifying the removed material, explaining the lawful basis for use, and accepting responsibility for the statement. We may restore material when the dispute is resolved or the applicable process permits it.
We may terminate repeat infringers and take action against knowingly false, fraudulent, or harassing notices. This process does not replace court orders or rights available under applicable law.
