VideoBook
Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy explains refunds and cancellation for paid digital content and subscriptions where VideoBook checkout is offered.
Effective date and version: 2026-08-15
1. When checkout is available
A charge is valid only after you choose PayPal or Wise on a VideoBook checkout showing the product, exact amount, and currency. PayPal orders are confirmed by PayPal; Wise orders remain pending until the exact amount, currency, and unique payment reference are verified. Contact us and the provider promptly about an unauthorized charge.
2. Digital content purchases
- A duplicate, unauthorized, incorrectly priced, unavailable, or materially defective purchase is eligible for review and an appropriate remedy, which may include restored access, replacement, price reduction, or refund.
- A change of mind after streaming or downloading digital content is normally not refundable unless required by applicable law or expressly offered at checkout.
- Where law requires consent to immediate digital delivery and acknowledgment that a cancellation right may be lost, checkout will request that consent before access begins.
3. Subscriptions
- You may cancel future renewal at any time before the next billing date once subscriptions are available. Access continues through the paid period unless a refund or immediate termination applies.
- Past subscription periods are not prorated merely because the service was unused, except where required by law or where the service was materially unavailable.
- Material price or renewal changes will be disclosed before they take effect and will follow applicable consent requirements.
4. How to request a remedy
Submit a Refund request through the Contact page, preferably within 14 days after the charge. Include the account email, order or processor reference, date, amount, reason, and relevant evidence. This request window does not limit mandatory legal rights.
We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and review complete requests within five business days. Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method; the processor or bank may take additional time to post the funds.
5. Abuse and mandatory rights
We may refuse fraudulent or abusive requests and may suspend access linked to a refunded purchase. Nothing in this policy limits remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.
To exercise a right, request a refund, or submit a copyright notice, use the Contact.
